This Thursday, April 11th, we will be having our final IIE meeting of the semester. As usual, it is our election meeting. So come out and support all the candidates or run for a board position. IIE Launches March Madness Fundraiser for Dance Marathon

This spring, UF IIE is hosting an NCAA March Madness Bracket Contest as a fundraising effort for Dance Marathon and Children’s Miracle Health Network, with the winning bracket receiving a $50 (or more) gift card!

Think you know your hoops? Fill out your bracket and put it to the test!

Think you don’t know your hoops? No worries! Pick by your favorite mascot, favorite color, what your baby cousin says, which one your pet octopus prefers, or virtually any other standard! Every year, people who use unconventional selection methods end up with a better bracket than some “experts.” That’s why they call it March Madness!

Meeting #4: Eaton

This week we’ll be having another exciting IIE meeting, which will be hosted by Eaton corporation. They are hiring and accepting resumes in every position (operations internships, Leadership Development Programs for both Operations and Technical Sales, and lastly in the direct hire position for both Operations Engineering and Technical Sales) and they want to look at EVERY senior graduating this may who does NOT yet have a job!

So come join us in Weil 270 at 7:15 on March 14th!

Volleyball Social!

This Tuesday at 6:30 we are having our volleyball socail at the Southwest Recreation Center sand volleyball courts. Come on out and visit with your fellow ISE’s and play a relaxed game of volleyball! All skill levels will be playing so don’t worry if you aren’t a great player. Hope to see you there!

Career Showcase Crash Course

Resume Critique

Career Fair is coming up quickly, with only a little over a week left! Need some help with your resume? Then come out to the IIE Lounge (Weil 405) any time between 10:40 am and 4:00 pm Monday-Friday. IIE officers will be waiting to help anyone who needs assistance, whether it’s a few touch ups or a complete reconstruction. Hope to see you there!

Kickoff Meeting Spring 2013!

The first meeting of the semester is this Thursday, January 24 at 7:15 in Weil 270! Come out and support UF IIE and hear from INROADS and Voalte. Bring your resumes because Voalte will be talking about internships as well as full time positions and, if you are an underclassmen, INROADS program (application based) may be able to find you internships!

Camping Trip

It’s almost time for this semesters IIE and APM (ISE honor society) joint camping trip! The spring camping trip was a smashing success, and we are looking to make this one even better. The trip will take place from the afternoon of November 16th to the morning of November 17th at O’ Leno State Park.

If you want to go camping, please fill out the mandatory Google doc so we can have a head count!
