November 21st @ 7:15 CSE E121
If you are looking to get more involved on campus and build your leadership experience, consider running for an officer position with IIE! Our election meeting is coming soon – November 21st at 7:15 PM. Location CSE E121.
Why should you run for office with IIE?
IIE is one of the largest engineering organizations at UF with over 500 students and over 200 active members. With these numbers in reach, an increasingly large Mentor/Mentee program, and a dozen recruiting companies every semester, IIE is a demanding organization that gives its officers real responsibilities and leadership. These responsibilities, skills, and leadership characteristics are some of the most common things that companies look for in a hire. Being an IIE Officer is a great way to build yourself professionally and start gearing yourself towards scoring that internship or job. Additionally, IIE is fun and being an officer means helping create a strong community of ISEs at UF.
The IIE Officer Positions are:
- President (executive)
- Vice President of Internal Affairs (executive)
- Vice President of External Affairs (executive)
- Treasurer (executive)
- Communications Director (executive)
- Mentor / Mentee Program Coordinator (executive)
- Chapter Development Chair (2 positions open)
- Fundraising Director
- BEC Representative
- ISE Student Advisory Council Representative
- Networking Director
- Athletics Director
