Hi UF IISE! Below are scholarship opportunities for UF students. Make sure to apply, and as always, go gators!
Emerging Scholars Program
This program is strictly for Freshman or Sophomores who have not engaged in undergraduate research, including high school. The student will receive a $1,000 stipend and enroll in two consecutive semesters of undergraduate research: Spring 2017/Summer 2017 or Spring 2017/Fall 2017. We have been provided a few slots (6-10) with a 50/50 match. This means the faculty or department pay $500 and the UF Center for Undergraduate Research pays $500.

Selection for Both Programs
All HWCOE faculty can nominate students for both programs with this simple online form:
Faculty who have posted undergraduate research project positions on the new College website will be given preference for selection of all funded or 50/50 matching funded positions for both programs.
Faculty who do not have a posted position can still enter their project descriptions online through November 30
All HWCOE faculty can select as many slots for both programs as they desire provided they pay the full student stipend of $1,000 per student for Emerging Scholars and $1,750 per student for University Scholars.
